Data Collection

This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or browsing information with any external server. All analysis data (followers, following, posts, stories) and user preferences (theme settings) are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API and never leave your device.

How It Works

This extension analyzes your Instagram followers and engagement directly from your account. It fetches content directly from Instagram's API using your existing Instagram session. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not send any data to external servers.

Network Requests

The extension communicates only with official Instagram domains to provide its functionality:

• instagram.com: To fetch user profiles and detect your logged-in username from the page.

• i.instagram.com: To access Instagram's API endpoints for followers, following, posts, post likers, and story data.

• cdninstagram.com: To load profile pictures and media thumbnails from Instagram's content delivery network.

• fbcdn.net: To load media files from Instagram's content delivery network (Meta/Facebook CDN). This includes subdomains like scontent-.fbcdn.net and video-.fbcdn.net.

No data from these requests is collected, logged, or sent to any external server.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, advertising, or data collection services.

Permissions

The extension requires the following permissions, each used solely for the described purpose:

• storage: Save your preferences (theme) and cached analysis data locally in your browser.

• instagram.com: Access to inject the analyzer panel and fetch user data from Instagram's API.

• i.instagram.com: Access Instagram's API endpoints for followers, following, posts, likers, and stories.

• cdninstagram.com: Load profile pictures and media thumbnails from Instagram's CDN.

• fbcdn.net: Load media files from Instagram's content delivery network (scontent-.fbcdn.net, video-.fbcdn.net, etc.).

Local Storage

All data stored by this extension remains on your device:

• Followers List: Your followers with usernames and profile pictures.

• Following List: Users you follow with usernames and profile pictures.

• Posts: Your recent posts with media IDs and thumbnails.

• Post Likers: User IDs of users who liked each post.

• Story Data: Your active stories and viewer lists.

• Theme: Your selected theme preference (light/dark).

• Logged-in User: Your username and profile info for quick access.

Data Retention

Data is retained on your device until you:

• Uninstall the extension (all data is automatically deleted)

• Manually clear the extension's storage through Chrome settings

• Clear your browser data

• Click the refresh button to re-fetch updated data from Instagram

User Rights

You have the right to:

• View your stored data at any time through Chrome's developer tools (chrome://extensions -> Developer mode -> background page)

• Delete all stored data by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension storage

• Choose which features to use (posts analysis, stories, follow analysis)

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
